Singer Joe Cardamore singer from the Icarus Line’s sideproject to his main band is a surprise. Neither the car-crash-scream-core-fest of the Icarus Line yet not the soft-lite-shit that solo projects are known for (cf: Scott Weiland), Souls She Said is a relevation. Full of spiked up and jagged art-rok riffs that have been booted out of the Iggy Pop’s Nightclub, it spirals out-of-control throughout the entire EP. Souls She Said is a completely disorientating ride through the LA Strip. It should be prescription through the UK!
