Pete Fowler - The Soundtrack Show

Pete Fowler is a funny fellow—intent on creation a strange world of monsterism through his ever increasing collection of funny little
monsters, record covers (Super Furry Animals, Magic Numbers), weirdo-DJ at his own soft-focus nights and his soundtrack to Monsterism Island
which contained some of the coolest retro-psych rarities in the land of the UK, he recently dropped into Resonance FM to play some of the
alternates for his own personal soundtrack to psychedelic living.  Starting off with cuts from soundtracks of Midnight Cowboy, Helle’s
Belles and You Are What You Eat, right through to the sci-fi wonders of the Holloway Babylon of Joe Meek through to Leonard Nimoy.  Or you can just tune in to hear the theme from Satan’s Sadists, a great b-movie from the ‘60s, whose theme song includes the mournful lines "I was born mean, by the time I was two they were callin’ me - Calling me…Satan… mmmmhhhmmmmm! … by the time I was 12 I was killin’ - killing for SATAN..mmmhhmmmmm!” Classic and amazing!
