Viking Moses Review of Crosses!

Viking Moses is singer-song writer Brendon Massei, who has produced an amusing collection of minimal acoustic-folk in his latest release ‘Crosses’. Fusing delicate piano with fragile acoustic driven melodies, ‘Crosses’ is a record of stripped honesty and integrity.

A plodding childlike sensibility engulfs the opening track, Still My Home. The simplicity of lyrics and stripped basic musical parts add to the southern, slow, lazy feel. Perfect for summer days. Occasionally a ripple breaks the stillness provided by a bout of playfully wonderful piano.

Many of the tracks clock in at less than two minutes, an indication of the roaming child in Viking Moses, that you will want to cherish.
