Let’s Kill the Summer is a haunting collection of home recordings that all possess an evocative ambience. This is The Singleman Affair’s first release on Poptones, but it is steeped in musical heritage and influence.

The constant atmospheric buzz of the album leaves a dreamy and disorientating taste. The sitar drone of the opening instrumental track, merges into a collection of blissed out hazy tracks, that are all linked by a soothing chilled nature. The album flits between cheery simple whistling to mysterious cinematic climaxes.
