Vietnam are a band on a mission. 

Forget about all that garage-rawk
messiness, Vietnam offer something different, something extreme ...
they have that raw motherfucking urgency about them that hits hard like
Dylan in ‘66 or the Byrds around the time that they were writing songs
like Eight Miles High.  But what is there is that strangely drugged-up
influence that sits right where Dylan lost it up on motorbike, Primal
Scream’s Give Out But Don’t Give Up and The Band.  Yet, the thing about
Vietnam which really stands out is the attitude.  The truly don’t give
a fuck attitude that gives each song a rushing urgency through the
psychedelic amped-up easy rider blooze that hits each song.  Other
tracks like Toby hit out like a junkie-tribute beamed through the
Velvet Underground ‘The Oceans’.  You will love it.  We do.
