Os Mutantes Legendary TV Perfomances..

Some of the Poptones.co.uk crew tracked down the legendary performance of Os Mutantes on Brazilian Television.  The show was partly responsible for the uprise of the new political music called Tropicalia (and hell, its one of the biggest influences on Devendra Banhart’s new album).  These television shows have been largely unavailable as of late so it was with a weird joy that Poptones.co.uk vieweed the original television episode now available on the internet.  Watch as the Mutantes take the song from the original bright psychedelia right down to the deep acid grooves.  Enjoy!
