With over 75 acts already confirmed, the Green Man Festival will return for it’s fourth year in August 2006 when it heads to a new, improved site in Wales’ Brecon Beacons ( http://www.glanuskestate.com ) for the three days of 18, 19 and 20 August. Tickets are still available and can be brought from the festival web site:  http://www.thegreenmanfestival.co.uk or from Ticketline UK: 08700 667799.

In advance of this Summer’s festival, the Green Man will set sail on the river Thames on Sunday 11 June 2006 for a Green Man presents Folk In A Boat pre-festival party.

The ‘Golden Jubilee’ boat will disembark from a central London Pier at 2pm and return at 7pm after sailing to Greenwich and back again.

Tickets and more details will be available through the Green Man Festival website http://www.thegreenmanfestival.co.uk from Monday 22 May at a cost of £18.00 each. Having purchased tickets from the website, no physical tickets will be sent out, just confirmation e mails. People buying tickets are asked to bring along their credit card as proof of identity and purchase to the pier, which will be announced in the confirmation e mail.

In addition to a fully stocked bar and give aways including festival tickets merchandise and CDs, there will be LIVE SETS from SIMPLE KID and FIELDS, walkabout comedy and on-board entertainers, plus DJs including CHERRYSTONES, STUART SOUTER, TWIRLIN MERLIN, and MY EX BOYFRIENDS COLLECTIVE.
