Wanna spend a day with Cherrystones on a boat aka Sex-Pistols-going-down-the-Thames-Jubilee-Styles?  Green Man Festival are having a pre-festival celebration and have devised that very thing for you to do.  Full schedule and ticket information is below.

With over 75 acts already confirmed, the Green Man Festival will return for it’s fourth year in August 2006 when it heads to a new, improved site in Wales’ Brecon Beacons ( http://www.glanuskestate.com ) for the three days of 18, 19 and 20 August. Tickets are still available and can be brought from the festival web site:  http://www.thegreenmanfestival.co.uk or from Ticketline UK: 08700 667799.

In advance of this Summer’s festival, the Green Man will set sail on the river Thames on Sunday 11 June 2006 for a Green Man presents Folk In A Boat pre-festival party.

The ‘Golden Jubilee’ boat will disembark from a central London Pier at 2pm and return at 7pm after sailing to Greenwich and back again.

Tickets and more details will be available through the Green Man Festival website http://www.thegreenmanfestival.co.uk from Monday 22 May at a cost of £18.00 each. Having purchased tickets from the website, no physical tickets will be sent out, just confirmation e mails. People buying tickets are asked to bring along their credit card as proof of identity and purchase to the pier, which will be announced in the confirmation e mail.
