Lesbian is a heavy, melodic, dramatic and dynamic quartet from Seattle single handedly spearheading the New Wave of American Psychedelic Metal.  The band brilliantly blends the best elements of many styles of metal: Doom, Thrash, Black, Progressive and—yes—even good old “Heavy” Metal. Throughout the course of this epic four-song album, Lesbian deftly lunges from blast-beat bursts into 70’s style Stoner riffs and just as quickly into lush melodic passages.

Another band laid onto us by Cherrystones, Relatively Clean Rivers, is a relevation.  This is the sound of laid back California.  Easy days and easy ways.  With a wandering free spirit and Byrds-harmonies, the whole album self-titled album is so laid back that you are prone to listening to it all the way through and then think ‘hey life is alright ...’ This is for Byrds fanatics who missed this one the first time around.
